OBJECTIVES / ACTIVITIES OF THE CLUSTER

  • Representing the common interests of cluster members and thus other wood processors in front of all national and international bodies and organizations.
  • Developing, improving and coordinating professional and social activities of cluster members.
  • Organizing and coordinating joint promotion and market presence
  • Representing and harmonizing the interests of wood processors in the adoption of appropriate legislation and national programs.
  • Supporting members in the use of national and EU subsidies, developing international cooperation programs.
  • Development of capacities of members of the association in order to better represent the interests and implement activities.
  • Popularization of the use of wood and wood products as well as care for nature protection and a healthy human environment.
  • Support for the introduction of ISO, CoC (FSC, PEFC) standards, etc.
  • Design and development of new products and solutions.
  • Cooperation with other wood processing associations both in the country and abroad, as well as with research organizations and other organizations and individuals that can contribute to the development of the cluster.
  • Awarding of prizes and recognitions for exceptional results and for contribution to the development and improvement of the wood industry of Montenegro.
